the IUPHAR-Education SectionSatellite Meeting

We warmly invite you to attend

 the IUPHAR-Education SectionSatellite Meeting
to be held prior to the opening of
the 17th World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (WCP2014)
in Cape Town, South Africa.

The IUPHAR-Ed symposium will take place at the Cape Town
International Conference Centre from 12-13 July 2014. It follows
popular quadrennial meetings, previously in San Francisco (2002),
Beijing (2006) and Copenhagen (2010).

This pharmacology education symposium will provide you with an
opportunity to meet and mingle with both experienced and early
stage educators in pharmacology and related disciplines. Session
structures are specifically designed to allow interactive dialogue
on the latest innovations and technologies that could advance
learning and education in the broad discipline of pharmacology.
Join roundtable discussions guided by pharmacology teaching
experts and share your experiences with the group.

Abstracts are invited concerning pharmacology education in any
areas of basic, translational or clinical pharmacology.
Submissions should relate to original, previously unpublished work
contributing to the understanding, or development of quality
education in pharmacology. Participants may submit their work for
delivery as a poster at the Satellite meeting, and, at the
discretion of the scientific committee, you may be invited to
deliver an oral presentation of your work.
Provided the work relates to pharmacology education, participants
